Faith Part 2

Now, though I have all this faith so as to remove mountains, yet if I have not the faith which worketh by love, I am nothing. To remove mountains was a proverbial phrase among the Jews, and is still retained in their writings, to express a thing which is very difficult, and to appearance impossible. Mat_21:21; Luk_17:6.

 

 

Luk 17:5  The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!"

Luk 22:32  but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers."

Rom 4:20  No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God,

Rom 10:17  So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Rom 12:3  For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.

 

Rom 16:26  but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith --

1Co 12:9  to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,

1Co 16:13  Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

Eph 2:8  For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,

Eph 6:16  In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;

Php 3:9  and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith--

1Th 3:10  as we pray most earnestly night and day that we may see you face to face and supply what is lacking in your faith?

1Th 5:8  But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation.

Heb 11:1  Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Heb 11:6  And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Heb 12:2  looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

1Jn 5:4  For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

Mat 13:31  He put another parable before them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field.

Mat 13:32  It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches."

Eph 2:9  not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Eph 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Mar 9:23  And Jesus said to him, "'If you can'! All things are possible for one who believes."

1Pe 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1Pe 1:4  to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you,

1Pe 1:5  who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1Pe 1:6  In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials,

1Pe 1:7  so that the tested genuineness of your faith--more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire--may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

1Pe 1:8  Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,

1Pe 1:9  obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
